Our School Logo

The centrepiece of our logo is a Spring Gentian - the wild flower for which the Burren is famous. The symbols on the petals represent some of the attributes associated with our school - our love of learning, music, sport, our passion for inclusivity and a sense of belonging. The dove represents a symbol of our Christianity. Our motto "Foghlaim, Fís is Fáilte" translates as "Learning, Vision and Welcome". Bhí sé an tábhachtach duínn usáid a bhaint as ar dteanga dhúchais már chuid dár lógó mar tá traidisiún fada feabhas i dtaca againn le h-úsaíd na gaeilge í Scoil Mhuire Náisiúnta. The logo is in the shape of a circle - representing unity and wholeness. We hope that our new logo will be an inspiring visual identity for our school in the years to come and thanks to everyone who contributed to its creation.
